Dixeia charina, commonly known as the African small white, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Pieridae. This species is native to southeastern Africa. The wingspan of this butterfly ranges from 34 to 40 mm for males, and from 36 to 42 mm for females. Adults are in flight year-round. The larvae of Dixeia charina feed on Capparis citrifolia and Capparis sepiaria.
