About Disa racemosa L.f.

Disa racemosa, commonly known as the vlei disa or rose disa, is a perennial geophyte plant. It belongs to the genus Disa and is a member of the fynbos vegetation community. This species is endemic to the Eastern Cape and Western Cape regions. Disa racemosa can grow up to 1 meter in height, and it flowers between November and December, typically shortly after an area where it grows has burned.
