About Disa longicornu L.f.
Disa longicornu, commonly known as the drip disa, is a perennial geophyte. It belongs to the genus Disa and grows in fynbos vegetation. This plant is endemic to the Western Cape of South Africa, where it can be found on Table Mountain and in the Hottentots Holland Mountains. It has six total subpopulations, all of which are located near hiking trails. Its populations are in decline because both formal and informal flower sellers excessively pick the plant's flowers.
