This species has been recorded in the U.S. states of Illinois, Louisiana, Minnesota, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin. The larvae of Digrammia gnophosaria feed on willow species from the genus Salix, including Salix babylonica.
