The moustached flowerpiercer, with the scientific name Diglossa mystacalis, is a bird species that belongs to the tanager family Thraupidae. This species was first formally described by French ornithologist Frédéric de Lafresnaye in 1846. It is native to Bolivia and Peru. Its recognized natural habitats include subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland, and heavily degraded former forest.
