The Andean white-eared opossum, with the scientific name Didelphis pernigra J.A.Allen, 1900, is a species of opossum native to South America. It occurs in the Andes Mountains, across a range that extends from Venezuela to Bolivia. Along with the Guianan white-eared opossum (D. imperfecta), Didelphis pernigra was split from the white-eared opossum (D. albiventris) in 2002; it had been grouped with D. albiventris starting in 1993.
