About Dictyna arundinacea (Linnaeus, 1758)

Dictyna arundinacea (Linnaeus, 1758) is a species of spider in the family Dictynidae. It has a Holarctic distribution, and is found across Britain and northern Europe. Its body length, when legs are excluded, ranges from approximately 2 mm to 3.5 mm, with females being slightly larger than males. Its carapace is dark brown, and its head is covered by five rows of white hairs. The abdomen bears a pattern formed by white hairs, with a gap in the cardiac region and another gap at the rear.
