Dichomeris zonata is a species of moth that belongs to the family Gelechiidae. It was first described by Hou-Hun Li and Hong-Jian Wang in 1997. This moth species is found in China, specifically in Hong Kong and Yunnan. The wingspan of adult Dichomeris zonata ranges from 17 to 19 millimeters. The forewings of this moth are ochreous brown. The basal half of the forewing's costal margin, and the basal three-fourths of its posterior margin, are brown. There is a brown spot at the base of the forewing cell, another brown spot at the end of the cell, and two additional brown oblique spots at the middle of the wing. This species has at least three generations per year, and adult moths have been recorded on wing in February, as well as from April through November each year.
