Dicaeum sanguinolentum Temminck, 1829 is a species of passerine bird in the flowerpecker family Dicaeidae. It is commonly called the Javan flowerpecker, and was formerly known as the blood-breasted flowerpecker. This bird is endemic to the Indonesian islands of Java and Bali, which are part of the Lesser Sunda Islands. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest. Previously, it was classified as being the same species as the Flores, Sumba, and Timor flowerpeckers.
