Deraeocoris flavilinea (A.Costa, 1862) is a species that reaches 7–8 mm in total length. This species displays clear sexual dimorphism: males have much darker coloration than the more orange-colored females. In this species, the front and rear margins of the pronotum are narrowly pale. For individuals of both sexes, the cuneus shows variable coloration, and the sides of the scutellum are paler. This species is found in Austria, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, and Slovenia. It was first recorded within the United Kingdom in 1996.
