Dendropsophus rhodopeplus, commonly known as the red-skirted treefrog, is a species of frog that belongs to the Hylidae family. This frog is found in the upper Amazon Basin, across the countries of Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru. It is a very abundant and widespread species, living in both primary and secondary tropical rainforest. Individuals of this species gather near permanent ponds, temporary ponds, and swamps to breed.
