About Dampiera dysantha (Benth.) Rajput & Carolin
Dampiera dysantha, commonly known as the shrubby dampiera, is an undershrub that belongs to the family Goodeniaceae. This species grows up to 70 cm in height. Its flowers are blue, or occasionally white to lilac, and are covered on the outside with grey and rusty hairs. Flowering generally occurs between September and October within the species' native range. It was first formally described in 1868 by English botanist George Bentham as a variety of Dampiera rosmarinifolia, published in Flora Australiensis.
