About Cyrtodactylus miriensis Davis, Das, Leaché, Karin, Brennan, Jackman, Nashriq, Chan & Bauer, 2021
Cyrtodactylus miriensis is a species of gecko endemic to Sarawak, which is located in Malaysian Borneo. Its specific name references the Miri District of Sarawak. While it was previously thought that the species might also occur in Brunei, this had not been confirmed. However, recent observations uploaded to iNaturalist confirm that Cyrtodactylus miriensis is present in Brunei. This species can reach a snout–vent length of at least 71 millimeters, which equals 2.8 inches.
