About Cyclargus thomasi (Clench, 1941)

Cyclargus thomasi is a butterfly species belonging to the family Lycaenidae. It is commonly known by the general common names Thomas's blue, Miami blue, or Caribbean blue. This species is distributed across North America and the West Indies. One of its subspecies, C. t. bethunebakeri, is restricted to Florida and is specifically called the Miami blue. The MONA (also known as Hodges) number assigned to Cyclargus thomasi is 4358.
