About Cuthona divae (Er.Marcus, 1961)

Cuthona divae, commonly known as the rose-pink cuthona, is a species of sea slug. It is an aeolid nudibranch, a type of marine gastropod mollusc that belongs to the family Cuthonidae. This species was first described based on specimens collected from Dillon Beach, California, United States. Since its initial description, it has been recorded along the Pacific coast of North America, ranging from Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada, south to Point Loma, San Diego, California. Ecologically, Cuthona divae feeds on hydroids from the family Hydractiniidae, specifically the genera Hydractinia and the species Clavactinia milleri.
