Cussonia thyrsiflora, officially Cussonia thyrsiflora Thunb., is commonly called the Cape coast cabbage tree in English, and known as Kaapse kuskiepersol in Afrikaans. It is a small evergreen tree that belongs to the Araliaceae plant family. This species naturally occurs in South Africa, growing along the country's southern Cape coast in the area between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth.
