Ctenus hibernalis Hentz, 1844 (sometimes referenced as Ctenus hybernalis), commonly called the Alabama wandering spider, is a species of wandering spider in the family Ctenidae. This species is native to the southeastern United States. It is known almost exclusively from Alabama, with only a small number of records from neighboring Georgia. Ctenus hibernalis is most often observed in rocky mixed woodlands, frequently located near streams or other water sources. Observation data confirms it occasionally enters human-built structures.
