About Cteniopus sulphureus (Linnaeus, 1758)

Cteniopus sulphureus, commonly known as the sulphur beetle, is a species of comb-clawed beetle. It is classified in the subfamily Alleculinae of the family Tenebrionidae. This species occurs primarily in Denmark, Finland, Slovenia, Italy, and Sweden. Adult sulphur beetles reach a length of 7 to 8 millimetres (0.28โ€“0.31 inches). Their elytra are pale yellow, while their head and pronotum are orange-yellow, and the head is shaped to extend forward.
