About Cryptocentrus strigilliceps (Jordan & Seale, 1906)
The target shrimpgoby, scientifically known as Cryptocentrus strigilliceps, is a species of goby. It is native to the Indo-West-Pacific region, where it lives near coasts on silty or sandy reefs, at depths ranging from 3 to 15 metres, which is equivalent to 9.8 to 49.2 feet. This species forms a symbiotic relationship with alpheid shrimps. It can grow to a total length of 10 centimetres, or 3.9 inches. This species is also available in the aquarium trade.
