Cryptocala chardinyi is a moth species belonging to the family Noctuidae. Its known distribution covers southern Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, the Altai Mountains, the area from the Sayan Mountains to the Amur region, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, and China. This species has a wingspan that ranges between 25 and 30 millimeters. Adult moths are active in flight from the second half of June through the first half of August. The larvae of this species are thought to feed on plant species from the Rumex genus.
