Croton pottsii (Klotzsch) Müll.Arg. is a perennial forb. It has ovate to elliptic shaped leaves that are dusty green, a coloration caused by the presence of stellate hairs. Its flowers may be unisexual or bisexual, and all lack petals. This species is named after John Potts, who worked as the manager of the Chihuahua Mint.
