About Crocanthes perigrapta Meyrick, 1904
Crocanthes perigrapta is a moth species that belongs to the Lecithoceridae family. It was first described by Edward Meyrick in 1904. This species is found in Australia, with recorded occurrences in Queensland, New South Wales, and South Australia. Its wingspan measures 12–14 mm (0.47–0.55 in). The forewings are ochreous yellow, with a blackish streak running along the costa from the base to the middle. A dark fuscous subdorsal dot at one-fourth of the forewing length is sometimes present. A blackish inwards-curved line extends from the three-fourths mark of the costa to the four-fifths mark of the dorsum, and is somewhat extended posteriorly along the costa. A black line runs along the termen of the forewings. The hindwings are grey, and are more or less suffused with pale yellowish. The apical fourth of the hindwings forms a more or less defined pale yellowish band. The terminal edge of the hindwings is dark grey or blackish, and a dark grey discal spot is sometimes present.
