Crithagra albogularis, commonly known as the white-throated canary, is a small bird species that reaches approximately 15 centimeters in length. It has generally dull-colored plumage, a yellow or yellow-green rump, a heavy horn-colored beak, brown irises, and brown legs. Males and females look very similar externally, and juvenile individuals resemble full-grown adults. This species is distributed across Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, and South Africa. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, and subtropical or tropical high-altitude grassland.
