About Crenadactylus ocellatus (Gray, 1845)

Crenadactylus ocellatus (Gray, 1845), also commonly called the southwestern clawless gecko or western clawless gecko, is the smallest species of nocturnal gecko native to Australia. This species is endemic to Australia, and distributed across the country's southwest region. It can be found on stony ground, in Triodia-dominated deserts, and it is a ground-dwelling gecko. Its typical habitats include leaf litter, rubbish piles, and areas beneath rocks. It is also sometimes found in the lower sections of hummock grass. Note that the name western clawless gecko is also used for the separate species Crenadactylus occidentalis.
