About Craugastor podiciferus (Cope, 1875)
This section describes the physical characteristics of Craugastor podiciferus. In dorsal view, its snout is long and ovoid; in lateral view, it is depressed and somewhat pointed. It has a sharp canthus rostralis. The supra-tympanic fold only becomes distinct behind the tympanum. Its fingers have no lateral keels and have weakly bulbous tips. Its toes also have no lateral keels, but do bear discs. The dorsum is grayish brown or brown, with some spots and an inter-orbital bar. A black line marks the canthal and supra-tympanic fold. The belly is dark brown or black with bluish-white flecks, or it can be gray-orange. The throat is orange or gray-orange.
