About Craugastor mimus (Taylor, 1955)
Craugastor mimus is a species of frog that belongs to the family Craugastoridae. It inhabits lowland and premontane forests on the Atlantic slope, ranging from eastern Honduras through eastern Nicaragua to central Costa Rica. Its natural habitats are moist and wet lowland and premontane forests. This species is threatened by habitat loss. In terms of snout–vent length, male Craugastor mimus reach a maximum length of 30 mm (1.2 in), while females grow up to 55 mm (2.2 in).
