About Cratoneuron filicinum (Hedw.) Spruce
RECORDS. Bescherelle (1882) recorded Cratoneuron filicinum in Ehna - Bord and Ravins de l‘oued Sidi - el - Kebir. Bescherelle (1882) and Jelenc (1955 a) found it in Atlas de Blida, Aïn Talazid, Djurjura, Gorges de la Chiffa, Massif de Tablat, Sakamody, and Monts de Constantine. Corbière (1904) reported it in Tlemcen, parois de la dernière vasque de la cascade. Corbière (1904) and Jelenc (1955 a) noted its presence in Batna, at parois d’une source calcaire on the north flank of djebel Tougourth at 1300 m and on the south flank of djebel Tougourth at 1300 m. Litschauer (1904) found it at Qued - Kebir bei Blidah, 300 m. Jelenc (1949, 1967) recorded it in Monts de Tlemcen, cirque d’El Ourit at 1100 m and on the Plateau travertineux de Lalla Setti. Jelenc (1953) found it in Bèlezma, on the southeast slopes of djebel Touggour at 1700 m. Jelenc (1953, 1967) reported it in Massif de Aurès, on the north flank of Chélia at 1900 m, in the ravine of the forest house of Chélia at 1500 m, in the forest of Sgag at 1650 m, and in Monts du Hodna, Maadid, at the forest house of Mahali at 1300 m. Jelenc (1955 a) noted it in Atlas de Blida, oued el Kebir at 200 m, in Djurdjura, Lalla Khadidja, and in Monts de Tlemcen, cascade de Mazer. Jelenc (1955 b, 1967) found it in Monts de Hodna at the massif of Bou Thaleb at Attafi, 1400 m. Jelenc (1967) reported it in Assif du Bélézma, djebel Touggour at 1700 m. Boukhatem et al. (2017) recorded it in El - Kala National Park, Tonga lake watershed. The species is common.
