About Cotoneaster glaucophyllus Franch.

Cotoneaster glaucophyllus Franch. is a plant that reaches 4 metres (13 ft) in height. It bears arched, erect branches that range in colour from greenish to purple-black. Fertile shoots of this species measure 40โ€“70 millimetres (1.6โ€“2.8 in) long and hold two to four leaves each. Its pedicels are 2โ€“6 millimetres (0.079โ€“0.236 in) long and covered in strigose hairs. The leaves are mid-green, ranging from dull to somewhat shiny, with light green undersides. Both flower buds and open flowers are white, and the open flower corolla measures 5โ€“6 millimetres (0.20โ€“0.24 in) wide. The fruits are globose, orange, and 6 millimetres (0.24 in) wide.
