Cosentinia is a genus of ferns. It is classified in the subfamily Pteridoideae of the family Pteridaceae, and contains only one single species: Cosentinia vellea (Aiton) Tod. This species has a native distribution that extends from the Canary Islands, across Europe, northern Africa, and Western Asia, all the way to the west Himalayas in the Indian subcontinent.
