About Coryphopterus glaucofraenum Gill, 1863

Coryphopterus glaucofraenum, commonly known as the bridled goby, is a goby species first described by Gill in 1863. This species is native to the Western Atlantic Ocean and Caribbean Sea, ranging from North Carolina to Brazil. It lives on reefs in regions with white sand at depths between 2 metres (6.6 ft) and 45 metres (147.6 ft). The maximum total length this species can reach is 8 centimetres (3.1 in). It occasionally enters the aquarium trade.
