About Coryphellina albomarginata (M.C.Miller, 1971)

This is a flabellinid nudibranch species. It has a translucent body with a line of opaque white pigment along the edge of its foot. The outer half of its rhinophores and oral tentacles are covered in white pigment, and the rhinophores have tubercles on their rear surfaces. This nudibranch grows to a maximum length of 10 mm. A variant of the species, which has lines of white pigment on the oral tentacles and on the rear surfaces of the rhinophores, has been recorded in northern New Zealand. The species is distributed across all coasts of New Zealand.
