Corticium roseum Pers. is a fungus species that belongs to the family Corticiaceae. Its basidiocarps, also called fruit bodies, are effused, smooth, corticioid, and pink in color. This species has a broad distribution across both northern and southern temperate regions. In Europe, it most commonly grows on dead, still-attached branches of Salix and Populus trees.
