Coraebus elatus (Fabricius, 1787) is a species of jewel beetle. It is classified in the family Buprestidae, subfamily Agrilinae. This beetle occurs across most of Europe, the Near East, and the eastern Palearctic realm. The main host plants for its larvae belong to the genera Agrimonia, Filipendula, Fragaria, Lapsana, Potentilla, Poterium, and Sanguisorba. Adult individuals of this species range in length from 4.5 to 7.2 millimetres, equal to 0.18 to 0.28 inches.
