About Copaxa decrescens Walker, 1855
Copaxa decrescens is a moth species in the family Saturniidae, first described by Francis Walker in 1855. It is widespread across Central and South America, found at low to medium altitudes. Males of this species have a wingspan of 90–120 mm, while females have a wingspan of 105–125 mm. Its larvae feed on plant species from the genera Persea, Salix, and Quercus, including the species Quercus ilex.
