Convolvulus althaeoides L. is a species of morning glory that has two common names: mallow bindweed and mallow-leaved bindweed. This flowering plant is native to the Mediterranean Basin. It can occasionally be found in other regions with similar climates, including California in the United States, where it was introduced. It is a climbing perennial plant that produces solitary flowers on long peduncles. Each flower is a funnel-shaped pink bloom that measures three to four centimeters wide. Its leaves are deeply divided into narrow, fingerlike lobes.
