The shell of Conus omaria Hwass, 1792 ranges in length from 33 mm to 86 mm. Its shell color varies from orange-brown to chocolate brown. The surface is covered in tiny white spots, overlaid with larger white triangular spots that sometimes form bands across the shoulder, middle, and base of the shell. This species is distributed across the Central and East Indian Ocean, where it is found off the coasts of Aldabra, Madagascar, the Mascarene Basin, and Tanzania. It also occurs off the coast of the Philippines, and in Australia across the Northern Territory, Queensland, and Western Australia.
