Conus bandanus Hwass, 1792 has a shell that ranges in size from 45 mm to 150 mm. The shell base color is white or pale pink-white, covered with chocolate or chestnut-colored reticulated patterns. These patterns are arranged to leave large, rounded triangular white spots that are densely packed. The colored markings form two irregular bands across the shell. The shell's aperture is white or light pink. This species is found in the Indo-Pacific region, specifically off the coasts of the Mascarene Basin, Mauritius, and Tanzania.
