Scientific name: Conomurex persicus (Swainson, 1821). The shell of this species varies in size between 35 mm and 75 mm. This species is native to the Arabian Sea and the Persian Gulf, and it is an alien species found in the Mediterranean Sea along Greece; it immigrated to this area via the Suez Canal, as documented by Albano et al. in 2021.
