About Condica videns Guenée, 1852
Condica videns, commonly known as the white-dotted groundling moth, is a species of moth belonging to the family Noctuidae. This moth is native to North America. Within North America, its recorded distribution ranges from Texas to Florida in the southern portion of the continent, extends north to Quebec, and reaches west to Alberta. The wingspan of adult white-dotted groundling moths measures approximately 28 millimeters. Adult moths are active from April through September, and the species produces at least two generations each year. The larvae of this moth feed on the blooms of a variety of composite flowers, including species from the Solidago and Aster genera.
