About Conasprella perplexa (G.B.Sowerby II, 1857)
Conasprella perplexa (G.B.Sowerby II, 1857) individuals have a yellowish-white shell marked with variable spiral rows of dots and dashes. Their aperture is purple, and the shell is covered by a thin periostracum. The adult shell size ranges between 15 mm and 30 mm. This marine species is distributed in waters from Baja California, Mexico to Peru, and also occurs off the Galápagos Islands.
