Colotis pallene (Hopffer, 1855), commonly called the Bushveld orange tip, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Pieridae. It is found in southern Africa. The wingspan of this butterfly ranges from 28 to 35 millimeters. Adult Colotis pallene fly throughout the year, with flight activity peaking in late summer and autumn. The larvae of this species feed on plants from the Capparis genus.
