Colotis aurigineus, commonly known as the African golden Arab, veined gold, or double-banded orange, is a butterfly species belonging to the family Pieridae. This species can be found in southern Sudan, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, northeastern Zaire, Malawi, and northwest Zambia. The larvae of Colotis aurigineus feed on plant species from the genus Maerua.
