About Colla rhodope Drury, 1782

This species is described as follows. On the upperside: Antennae are pectinated. Thorax and abdomen are dark-brown, marked with some faint whitish spots. Wings are transparent white, with two rows of greenish crescents running along the outer edges. The anterior wings also have similar faint greenish crescents in their middle area. The anterior edges of the wings are yellow. On the underside: Palpi are white. The tongue was not observed in this description. Legs, breast, and abdomen are white, while the anus is dark-brown. Wing coloration on the underside matches that of the upperside; each posterior wing has two brown spots near its abdominal corner. The margins of all wings are entire. The wingspan measures 2+1⁄2 inches (64 mm).
