About Coleonyx reticulatus Davis & Dixon, 1958

Reticulate banded geckos, scientifically named Coleonyx reticulatus Davis & Dixon, 1958, can reach a maximum length of 6.5 inches. Their base coloration is pink or brown, marked with brown or black spots, and may sometimes show faint banding patterns. They share the same habitat as Texas banded geckos, which makes them easy to confuse with that species, but reticulate banded geckos grow larger than Texas banded geckos. They also resemble leopard geckos.
