About Coenosia agromyzina (Fallén, 1825)

Adults of Coenosia agromyzina (Fallén, 1825) reach a body length of 2 to 3.5 millimetres (0.079 to 0.138 inches). Its thorax and abdomen are brownish-black. The black antennae are rather elongated, and its palps are also black. All of its legs are black. The wings have a slight brown-gray tint, and the main vein running along the leading edge of the wings ends at the cubital vein. This common species occurs in the Palearctic realm.
