About Cnemaspis mysoriensis (Jerdon, 1853)
Cnemaspis mysoriensis, commonly known as the Mysore day gecko, is a species of diurnal gecko. It is endemic to the Bangalore uplands of Karnataka state, South India. It is a rock-dwelling species that inhabits deciduous forest tracts in mid-hills. This species can also be found in the Hosur/Krishnagiri hills of Tamil Nadu, and in the Bangarapet, Ramnagara, and Tumkur districts of Karnataka state.
