About Cnemaspis littoralis (Jerdon, 1853)

Cnemaspis littoralis (Jerdon, 1853), commonly called the coastal day gecko, is a species of gecko that occurs in the Western Ghats of India. Its confirmed distribution includes Malabar, Nilambur, and Nellakota, all located on the western side of the Nilgiris. This gecko can be found on trees in dry teak forests. Jerdon's type specimen of this species was originally collected from a warehouse located on the seacoast.
