Clydonopteron sacculana, commonly known as the trumpet vine moth, is a species of snout moth. It was first described by Louis Augustin Guillaume Bosc in 1800. This moth species is found in the West Indies, Brazil, and Argentina. Within North America, its range extends from Washington, DC to Florida, and westward to Missouri and Texas. The wingspan of adult Clydonopteron sacculana ranges from 15 to 25 millimeters. Adult moths are active in flight from May to August each year. The larvae of this species feed on the seed pods of Campsis radicans.
