About Cleomella longipes Torr.

Cleomella longipes Torr. is a smooth, glabrous, sparsely branched annual herb that can grow up to 80 cm tall. Its leaves can be shaped lanceolate, oblanceolate, oblong, or narrowly elliptic, reaching up to 5 cm in length. Leaf apices are either acute or emarginate. Flowers grow in racemes at the top of the plant and at the tips of branches. The flowers have green sepals and yellow petals, with petals reaching up to 9 mm long and 4 mm wide. This species blooms between May and September.
