About Cinnyris notatus (Statius Muller, 1776)
The Malagasy green sunbird, with the scientific name Cinnyris notatus, is also commonly called the long-billed green sunbird. It is a bird species that belongs to the family Nectariniidae, and it has previously been classified under the genus Nectarinia. This species is found in the Comoros and Madagascar. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forest, subtropical or tropical moist lowland forest, subtropical or tropical mangrove forest, and subtropical or tropical moist montane forest.
